Privacy policy
Last updated: September 15, 2026
This privacy policy explains what information Pocket Callcenter collects, why we collect it, how we use it, and the choices you have. We've written it in plain language because we believe you should be able to understand exactly what happens to your data.
1. Who we are
Pocket Callcenter is a phone service for businesses. We provide phone numbers, voicemail, call menus and AI assistants. When we say "we", "us" or "our", we mean Pocket Callcenter.
2. Information you provide
When you create an account, we collect your name, company name, email address and payment details. When you use the service, we collect the content you create — greetings, call menus, knowledge base documents, notification settings and AI scripts.
3. Information generated by your calls
Your phone service produces data as it works. This includes call records (who called, when, and how long), recordings of voicemail messages, transcripts of those messages, and the details customers share with your AI assistant, such as their name, email, phone number and enquiry. This data belongs to you.
4. How we use your information
We use your information to provide and improve the service. Specifically, we use it to set up and run your phone lines, answer and route your calls, transcribe voicemails, deliver reports to your chosen channels, process your payments, and keep the service secure and reliable. We may also use anonymised, aggregated data to understand how the product is used and to improve it.
5. Your content and call data
Recordings, voicemails, transcripts, knowledge base documents and AI scripts are your content. They are stored securely and kept separate from other customers' data. You can view, download and delete them at any time from your dashboard. If you cancel your account, your content is deleted within a reasonable period, except where we are required to retain it by law.
6. Who we share information with
We only share your data with the services that make the product work, and only to the extent necessary. These include our payment processor, the voice provider that speaks your greetings and transcribes messages, and your chosen notification channels (email, Telegram or WhatsApp). We do not sell, rent or trade your personal information to anyone, ever.
7. Third-party services
Some features rely on third-party providers, such as the AI voice service and messaging platforms. Those providers process data under their own privacy policies and security practices. We choose providers carefully and only share the minimum data required to provide the feature you've enabled.
8. Data security
We use industry-standard encryption to protect data in transit and at rest, and we restrict access to your data to authorised systems and personnel only. Every customer's data is stored separately, so one account can never access another's. See our Security page for more detail.
9. Data retention
We keep your data for as long as your account is active. If you delete content or close your account, we remove it within a reasonable timeframe, unless we are legally required to keep it longer (for example, for tax or fraud-prevention purposes).
10. Cookies and analytics
Our website uses a small number of cookies to keep you signed in and to understand how visitors use the site. We do not use cookies for advertising. You can clear or block cookies in your browser, though some features may not work as expected.
11. Your rights
You have the right to access, correct, export and delete your personal information. You can do most of this yourself in your dashboard. To exercise any of these rights, or to ask us a question, contact us at [email protected].
12. Children
The service is intended for businesses and is not directed at children under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
13. Changes to this policy
We may update this privacy policy from time to time. When we make significant changes, we will notify you by email and update the date at the top of this page. Continued use of the service after a change means you accept the updated policy.
14. Contact us
If you have any questions about this privacy policy or how we handle your data, email us at [email protected]. We're happy to help.
