These terms and conditions govern your use of Pocket Callcenter. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these terms. Please read them carefully.

1. The service

Pocket Callcenter provides business phone numbers with voicemail, call menus and AI assistants. We handle the underlying phone technology so you can focus on your customers. The service is provided on a subscription basis, as described on our pricing page and in your account.

2. Your account

You must be at least 18 years old to use the service. You agree to provide accurate information when you register and to keep your login credentials safe. You are responsible for all activity that happens under your account, so keep your password private and notify us immediately if you believe your account has been compromised.

3. Acceptable use

You agree to use the service only for lawful purposes. You must not use it for harassment, fraud, spam, phishing, or to send calls or messages that violate any applicable law. You are fully responsible for the content of the calls, messages and greetings sent through your numbers.

4. Phone numbers

Phone numbers are provided as part of your plan or purchased separately. Numbers remain the property of the service or our carriers and may not be transferred away unless we agree in writing. We may change or reclaim a number if required by law or by our carriers, and we will notify you in advance where possible.

5. Plans and billing

Plans are billed monthly in advance. Upgrades take effect immediately, with the price difference applied on a pro-rated basis. Downgrades take effect at the end of your current billing period, so you keep your existing features until the period you've already paid for ends. You can cancel at any time from your dashboard, and your service continues until the end of the paid period.

6. Refunds

Because the service is provided on a subscription basis, we do not generally offer refunds for unused portions of a billing period. If you believe you were billed in error, contact us within 30 days of the charge and we will investigate.

7. AI assistant answers

Our AI assistants answer from the knowledge you provide and are designed to be helpful. However, AI is not perfect and may occasionally be wrong. You are responsible for reviewing the summaries and recordings we send you, and for any information you choose to act on. The AI assistant is not a substitute for professional advice.

8. Availability

We work hard to keep the service available 24/7, but we cannot guarantee uninterrupted service. We may need to perform maintenance, and outages may occur. We are not liable for losses caused by service interruptions to the extent permitted by law.

9. Your content

You retain ownership of your content — greetings, recordings, transcripts, knowledge base documents and scripts. You grant us a limited licence to store and process that content solely to provide the service. We do not use your content for any other purpose.

10. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Pocket Callcenter's total liability for any claim arising from the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, such as lost profits or lost business.

11. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if you breach these terms, use the service unlawfully, or fail to pay. You may close your account at any time. Upon termination, your access stops and your content is deleted in line with our privacy policy.

12. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. If changes are significant, we will notify you by email before they take effect. Your continued use of the service after the changes take effect means you accept the updated terms.

13. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Pocket Callcenter operates. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of that jurisdiction.
